i just got my electric guitar today!!
well it wasnt exactly mine my dad borrowed it from a friend who i dunno who it is[THANK YOU TO YOU UNCLE DUDE!] and he kinda didnt have to pay anything but anyway its still sitting comfortably and happily in its new temporary home..
i was practically playing with it forever the only thing is that there's no amp because my dad's friend to bring it all the way to church.
and the chances of my dad not buying me an amp are the chances of one magically popping infront me. oh well so i was playing it rather soundlessly.. and i figured out how to play star girl so that's pretty much what im playing on it now..
i cant wait for next week's guitar lesson. and uncle lim's gonna change my acoustic strings for me cos he said they were too hard.. and he's damn sarcastic lah haha
(cos actually last week on my first lesson he asked me to join karina and charmaine in the concert performance but after i went home i decided to say i didnt want to cos i had to pay $25 for performing [yes. pay to perform] and i didnt wanna waste my dad's money cos he's paid for the lesson and acoustic guitar and he was kinda angry that the first month had deposit and stuff so $120... so..)
uncle lim: why dont want to perform? $25 only wad.. i dont believe your father no money he paid hundred over for your guitar..
me: huh the guitar's only $99..
[an entire lesson of practice and after abt 45 mins..]
uncle lim: your guitar strings very hard thats why you cant press the strings.. aiyah i'll buy you new strings. next week you bring $12 for the strings. your father got $12?
HAHA. oh well. im so excited about the electric except its pretty much unelectricated.. i want an amp! i guess the thing about wanting the next thing once you've got something is so true.. but actually im rather contented.. considering how crazy i am over it right now..
ah the strings on the electric are cutting my fingers.
